As well as rigid fixed walled pallet boxes, a range of folding (collapsible) plastic pallet boxes offer the additional benefit of space saving when storing and transporting empty containers. Some models of folding pallet boxes also have a foldable side access door which aids packing and unpacking.
A range of sizes are available, there are also options of vented walls and various configurations to the base runners or feet depending on the model.
Pallet Boxes are a heavy duty plastic container for industrial applications. Essentially, it is a large folding plastic box to hold bulk materials or manufactured parts. The sides of the plastic box can be released and collapsed into a compact and stackable unit. When the sides of the folding bulk container are up, several bulk containers can be stacked on top of each other, while protecting the product within the container. Most of these heavy duty containers are rated for 1000 kgs or more, and they can be stacked 6 high (static load conditions) while holding that weight.
These folding bulk containers are made to handle typical use and abuse associated with manufacturing environments, and they work ideally as small shipping containers for manufactured parts. They are typically used for storage or shipping of automotive parts, assemblies, appliance parts, and anything that is provided in a closed loop distribution system.
